The region's business events community has been kept physically apart by the pandemic over the past 2 years. As Asia reopens and transits to a Covid endemic new normal, it's time for the industry to come together and chart the way forward. And we are delighted to share that the inaugural Asia CEO Summit 2022 will bring together the region's business events leaders to chart the way forward for the industry in a post-Covid world; and further underscore the importance of Asia in the global business events market.

Aimed at setting the stage for the reopening and reinvigoration of the region's MICE industry in this critical next phase of recovery, the Asia CEO Summit2022 is co-organised by Association of Event Organisers (AEO), Singapore Association for Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS), Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO), Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and supported by Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

Session #4 - ‘A View from the Asia Pacific’ – Fireside chat

So much has happened since the Joint Leadership Summit pilot event last October; the different approaches to managing the pandemic resulted in a staged reopening across the world. What did that look like from an Asia Pacific perspective? What lessons were learnt, possible damage done or new opportunities for those countries taking a more conservative approach? In this fireside chat, we will hear thoughts and views from Robin Hu, Chairman of the Board at Constellar Holdings.
