OVERVIEW
Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) was first created in 1975 to raise professional standards in the event industry and it continues to be the premier mark of professional achievement. The CEM designation accommodates short- and long-term career goals with education that can be tailored to meet specific needs and interests. The designation is obtained by completion of nine modules. The CEM Learning Programme is offered in the United States, Canada, Brazil, China, Dubai, India, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and Thailand. Today, more than 3,000 active CEMs around the world make up the CEM Network which serves as a leading channel for communication, ideas, thought leadership, industry recognition and promotion.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
- Introduce participants to the basic concepts and elements in organising conferences
- Raise the standards of professionalism and service quality through additional knowledge and experience gained about the conference management industry in Singapore
- Understand the practical applications of concept (i.e. marketing, budgeting, programming)
- Apply this knowledge to the real world through case studies
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
The CEM modules offered by SACEOS includes the following 9 modules which have to be completed within a 3-year period in order to attain the CEM designation. The modules are:
- Event Marketing (EM) Module
- Event Operations (EO) Module
- Exhibition and Event Sales (EES) Module
- Strategic Planning and Management (SPM) Module
- Floor Plan Development (FPD) Module
- Facility and Site Selection (FSS) Module
- Security, Risk and Crisis Management (SRCM) Module
- Selecting Service Contractors (SSC) Module
- Conference and Meeting Management (CMM) Module
ELIGIBILITY TO ENROL
Participants are required to have either
- A degree or diploma from an accredited college, polytechnics or university.
- With at least 3 years of full-time experience as a practitioner in exhibitions and events management.
- Completed Professional Exhibition Management (PEM) with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
